Sending “Artful” Mail
Time: 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM
Location: Crown Hill United Methodist Church
Mail art started around the 1960s. It is also known as Correspondence Art or Postal Art. This workshop will provide all the materials (mostly paper) to let you experiment with different techniques—folding tricks for single page notes, envelope/postcard collage tips, artistamp ideas. All crafters and artists, regardless of skill level, will enjoy creating and sharing their “masterpieces.” Come learn more about Mail Art in all its glory. All ages are welcome--entire families are encouraged.
Facilitator
Dorothy Skans is a Seattle native and a life-long crafter. She joined Seattle Free School in order to pass along her love of paper art as well as to pass along her over abundance of paper.
