Seattle Free School is a great place to learn something new, but we need your help. You can get involved with us from facilitating a new class to giving us your feedback on what classes you would like to see next. Remember...we exist from the desire for knowledge and support of our fellow community.
How You Can Help
Here are a few ways that you can help us in your community:
Spaces
- At the moment we are doing alright, but as we grow, we will be in need of more places to hold our classes.
Printing
- Very soon I'll have flyers right here on the website for you to print and post. Just make sure you have permission to post them. We could also use help with printing larger banners.
Classes
- Give us an idea of what classes you'd like to attend or if there's someone we should talk to about teaching. Let us know of other free classes in Seattle so we can list them on our site.
Write
- Blog or write about us and our classes. The more people know about Seattle Free School the better it becomes!
Spread the Word
- Tell your friends, your family or even the stranger on the bus...pass it along!
Facilitate a Class
Seattle Free School is a free skills exchange. Facilitating a class is easier than it may sound. You don’t need to be an expert. Often those who recently learned a skill can be the very best teachers as they still remember what it was like to start from the beginning.
If you want to learn more about facilitating, then plan on coming to one of our meetings on facilitating a free school class. Check the schedule.
If you are ready to facilitate a new class, then simply contact us here.
